MX Records are what tell the internet where to direct e-mail. By changing your MX record, you ONLY effect where mail is going, not your web site.
You will need to contact who ever is hosting your DNS to do this. It is most likely the company that registered your domain (aka registrar) or is hosting your web site. Most domain hosting services allow you to change your domain information online. You will need to change the MX record for your domain to point to our servers.
Every DNS interface is different. If you are not familiar with changing the changing the MX records (i.e. have never done it before) please contact your registrar or our Support Team for assistance.
The MX records needs to look like the following:
Mail Server - Priority
customerdomain.mf.rp.securembox.com - 10
customerdomain.mg.rp.securembox.com - 20
customerdomain.mh.rp.securembox.com - 30
customerdomain.mi.rp.securembox.com - 40
SPF Record Settings
An SPF (Sender Policy Framework) Record helps mail servers distinguish between real mail and forged mail being sent from a domain. You can create a SPF Record that's similar to the one below:
yourdomain.com IN TXT "v=spf1 include:_spf.zimbraservice.com ~all"
These records will need to be added to your DNS zone location hosted by your current registrar. This is the same company you contacted to update your MX records to point to Zimbraservice.com.
Please Note: For ‘customerdomain’ or 'yourdomain' you should enter the primary domain for your account. For example, if your primary domain is ‘domain.com’, your first MX record will be ‘domain.com.mf.rp.securembox.com’.
Please ensure that ALL domain aliases are adjusted to reflect the updated settings.
